Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Guarantee: This lifetime workmanship guarantee covers only the labour provided by Your electrical Expert Pty Ltd during the original service. It does not cover any parts, materials, or equipment, unless otherwise stated. Parts, materials and equipment carry their own warranty provided by the manufacturer.
2. Definition of Lifetime: “Lifetime” refers to the period during which the original customer owns and resides in the property where the service was performed.
3. Coverage: This guarantee covers defects in workmanship for services rendered by Your Electrical Expert Pty Ltd. If a defect arises due to our workmanship, we will rectify the defect at no additional labour charge to the customer.
4. Exclusions: This guarantee does not cover:
a. Defects or damages resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accidental damage, or modifications made after the original service.
b. Services or repairs performed by parties other than Your Electrical Expert Pty Ltd
c. Normal wear and tear or any issues arising from the aging of the installed component.
d. Damage resulting from external causes, such as natural disasters, theft, vandalism, or other external factors.
5. Claim Process: To make a claim under this guarantee:
a. The customer must provide proof of the original service (e.g., a receipt or invoice).
b. The customer must notify Your Electrical Expert Pty Ltd of the defect within 30 days of discovering it.
c. Your Electrical Expert Pty Ltd reserves the right to inspect and assess the reported defect before performing any repairs.
6. Limitation of Liability: Your Electrical Expert Pty Ltd ‘s liability under this guarantee is limited to the rectification of defective workmanship. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages.
7. Transferability: This guarantee is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer for whom the service was performed.
8. Termination: Your Electrical Expert Pty Ltd reserves the right to revoke this guarantee for a specific customer if the customer is found to be abusing the guarantee or acting in bad faith.
9. Changes to the Guarantee: Your Electrical Expert Pty Ltd reserves the right to modify, amend, or discontinue this guarantee at any time, but any changes will not affect services rendered prior to the change.
